Today I had to have beans on toast without any toast :( I did have crisps though so I sprinkled them on top. It wasn't really very nice. I have over £300 to pay in bills and cheques and a grand total of £40 in the bank. I need my loan! *weeps*

This has been a mostly good weekend :)
My Mum came to visit (and is still here actually, she couldn't be bothered to go home today) and took me shopping! I got a new pair of glasses which are very cool and allow me to see the computer screen properly again :D I also got many pretty things that I'm not allowed to have until my birthday/Christmas which kinda sucks but means that I'm actually looking forward to them this year.
I went to Bravissimo in Nottingham as well and bared my chest to a lovely lady who told me my breasts are now a size 32GG. WTF! Not even Bravissimo stocks many bras in my size and they specialise in large sizes. The last time I had them measured in February they were a 32FF. I think my boobs are planning to take over the world :S
Even better than the massive shopping trip, Nick came to visit for the weekend too! It was so nice knowing that when I came home he'd be in the house (even if he did spend all his time playing computer games :p) I took him back over to Nottingham earlier today so he could get the National Express back to Hertford so now I have no Nick to snuggle with tonight :( Although on the plus side it does mean that I won't get pushed out of bed tonight ;p After a minor dramatic episode we had dinner in Nottingham at Sausage. It was sooo good and I still feel fat :D Tesco sausages just won't seem the same anymore though :/
Speaking of Nick, I can't believe how good things are :D Jesus couldn't make a better man for me if he tried! Things are nearly always wonderful with him and I actually feel secure enough with him to complain when they're not. I want to have a house and a garden and cats and babies and redecorate with him :D
I should really go to bed now since I have to get up at seven thirty to take my Mum to the train station but I don't want to because I know that I won't sleep well now that Nick's gone :( Only four more sleeps :D

Woop! I finished my essay at the expense of my health. I drank so much coffee I made myself ill :( But everything is better now, I get to spend the weekend shopping and Nick's coming up tomorrow :D Only one more sleep!

I've had so much coffee that eyes are too open for me to blink comfortably and my hands are shaking too much for me to type properly!
It's been a while since I needed to pull a caffeine-induced all-nighter and I wouldn't bother except I want to wipe that smug look off my lecturer's face when he sees that I've handed my essay in on time even though he only gave me title this morning!
In other news: I actually made a friend today! Go me!

My lecturer is an unbelievable twat. He's refusing to give me a copy of the questions for a piece of coursework due in this Thursday because I should have received them in a lecture. The same lecture I emailed him telling him I wouldn't be there because I had flu.

Nick and Adam have just left and now I'm left all alone in an empty house :( But apart from being by myself now I had a pretty awesome weekend :D
Nick and Adam turned up on Thursday night and we ordered curry from the nicest curry in Derby, possibly the world ;D The delivery driver remember me from last year even though I have different hair and live in a different place now. He asked me where I'm originally from and when I said near London he started telling me about where he used to live and hugging me lots which was more than a little bizarre.
On Friday I attempted to have a lazy morning but was woken up by Nick at 8:30; it was a nice wake up but still far too early :( After a morning/early afternoon of WoW we got the bus over to Nottingham for GameCity. Nottingham is easily the nicest looking city in England that I've visited and it was really nice walking round over the two days even if my feet did get sore. After two days of trying to contact Joel and missing his calls we finally tracked him down at the talk we were going to that day. The talk was quite good and we got to meet two of Joel's friends, Simon (Mellowpad) and Kehoe (alas, I have no idea how to spell his name). After the talk we went to a wonderfully gothic pub called The Pit and the Pendulum before going back to Derby for homemade burgers :D
We spent the whole day in Nottingham on Saturday and went to a Sega concert which was unbelievably good, Sonic's birthday tea party complete with Sonic(!), a game art gallery and a talk in an Indian restaurant about the games industry. Between the concert and the Indian restaurant, Joel pulled a disappearing act and turned his phone off so we spent the time until the talk wandering around the city and went in the best Waterstone's known to man! It had four floors! You could happily spend all day in there :D The Indian restaurant was really nice too. The food was so yummy and I ate so much and ended up feeling sleepy at the beginning of the talk. The talk itself was brilliant but we ended up having to leave early to get the last bus back to Derby.
If they have another of these events next year I'm totally going :D
Today was a much more relaxed day. I got to spend time in bed with Nick snuggling which is always wonderful :D Although he had a nosebleed and now I have a trail of blood on my sheets :/ but they need changing anyway so it's fine. We went over to PC World in the afternoon so that Nick could buy a headset and the WoW Atlas as well as buying me a comfortable chair for my computer and headset for me too :D After visiting the worst run KFC I've ever been in (we queued for half an hour and they had one till open. AT LUNCHTIME! >.<) we came back to my house and while Nick and Adam played computer games I cooked a roast dinner :O I don't think I poisoned anyone but I'll only know for sure tomorrow. Big big apologies if I have :(
I think I'm going to have an early night tonight as I'm really tired now and I have a lecture tomorrow...which I may not go to since I haven't read the book. Ooops.

Gah! I hate it when I know I've spelt something right but convinced that it looks wrong and I have to go and check it. Recent culprits are 'modest' and, rather ironically, 'spelt'.
My descent into cheesy pop music continues! Yesterday I spent the evening listening to B*witched, Aqua and.......JASON DONOVAN :D And I still knew all the lyrics. This is obviously the reason why I can't retain any new information, it's all Jason Donovan's fault! I shall have to write to him and complain ;)
In other news: about eight hours!

Right now I should be in a lecture wowing the everyone with my knowledge of Dostoevsky but the trains were completely fucked up this morning and I hate walking into lectures late so I didn't go :( I also found out that all the packing jobs have been taken but the lady I spoke to on the phone said she'd try to squeeze me in if I call back next week. I really hope she can manage to because I desperately need some form of job and this one seemed perfect with the shifts they'd need me for *crosses fingers*
I received an email back from Hertfordshire today about transferring which basically said 'Sorry, we can't be bothered to read your email so apply to us in writing and try to get our attention.' So I need to fill in their application form and explain my reasons for wanting to transfer which means I'm going to write a terrible sob story about Michael having autism and hope they feel sorry for me and let me in. I'm putting off filling in the application form in case they refuse to accept me and then my choices are reduced to stay in Derby or drop out and I think I'd prefer to drop out :/
I had such a wonderful time at home over the weekend, mostly just snuggling in bed with Nick :D We watched The Maltese Falcon which was sooo good and we've got The Big Sleep to watch this weekend. I want to hunt down more Bogart films now! :D I've decided to come home every week until Nick can afford to visit me more. I can manage it if I'm really careful with my money which, surprisingly, I have been so far. I really hated staying up here at the weekend and not seeing Nick so much that I refuse to do it. I was so miserable and became a horrible person :(
I've got to write a report on a piece of American music for Wednesday but I still don't know what to use...or how to write a report :/ I'll email my lecturer or go and see him tomorrow to get some idea of what I'm doing - it's only 20% of this module so nothing really to worry about. But first I'm taking a nap, I kept clicking my hip out of place in the night which kept waking me up :(
